Chuẩn bị nguyên liệu. Thịt vịt làm sạch, chặt miếng vừa ăn. Gừng gọt vỏ, cắt sợi.
Cho thịt vịt vào tô lớn, nêm 2 muỗng canh nước mắm, 1 muỗng cà phê đường, 1 muỗng cà phê hạt nêm, hành và tỏi băm (chừa lại 1 ít để phi) vào cùng thịt vịt. Trộn đều và để thịt thấm gia vị khoảng 20 phút.
Cho dầu ăn vào nồi, phi thơm số hành tím băm và tỏi băm còn lại. Đổ tô thịt vịt xào xào săn lại thì thêm nước vừa đủ đun lửa liu riu để thịt chín.
Thịt chín múc ra đĩa và rắc gừng cắt sợi lên trên mặt. Nếu muốn ăn gừng chín thì khi tắt bếp thả gừng sợi vào rồi đậy nắp lại vài phút nhé!
